Stifle Update

I WROTE LINDA IN RESPONSE TO HER POST ABOUT THE SURCINGLE CONTRAPTION. ALTHOUGH IN GENERAL AN ONLY DONKEY IS A LONELY DONKEY, BECAUSE OF HER MULE BROTHERS AND GOAT AND DOG SISTERS, AND ALL THE TIME DAVID AND LINDA SPEND WITH HER, MADELINE IS DOING FINE ON HER OWN... AND WITH HAVING TO WEAR THIS CONTRAPTION, IT IS A VERY GOOD THING THAT SHE IS ON HER OWN! I CANNOT IMAGINE ANY DONKEY IN MY HERD WEARING THIS AND NOT HAVING THE OTHERS PLAYING WITH IT AND MAKING A MESS OF THINGS!

Thanks, she is a sweetheart. We will keep you posted with updates with how she is doing. I did not want 50 questions everytime she went camping with us in the interim while she is being treated so I figured it was best to post an update on the forum, since so many asked about her leg at AZ Backcountry Fund Raiser.

Lorraine asked about babies at Caballo, I was not sure if you had anything available or if they were all spoken for. You're right, she loves Madeline because she is so sweet, and I know she loves her color. She would come by our campsite every day just to see Madeline as she had to walk past us to get to the Big Circus Tent for food every morning and night.
